Telephone Quilt Project

A group of us got together and played the Telephone game. You remember, little girls sit in a circle and one girl whispers into the ear of the next girl something. Then the next girl whispers what she thought she heard to the next girl and so on. We started with a photograph. Then #2 made a quilt inspired by the photograph. #3 made a quilt inspired by #2's quilt, never seeing the photograph. #4 made a quilt inspired by #3's quilt, never seeing the photograph or #2's quilt, and so on. Next post shows the results.

Favorite Pencil

I just use any old nearby pencil to jot down things in my notebook. I made the notebook cover for a different journal book, but it was a bit too small. So I put this notebook in it and it swims a bit. Time to make a new cover.

Look what I found in my mailbox this afternoon! It is beautiful yarn! I haven't decided what pattern to knit with it, but it will definitely be something special.
