This week's haul.
I drove down to Manti for this week's Bountiful Basket. It isn't really that far to go.  I am trying for a basket every other week. For the two of us, it takes us that long to go through all of it.  I was thrilled to see the cherries,YUM!

It is supposed to be a hot one today, I hope to get some indoor stuff done.

Pete's Hole

Baby Pine Tree!

I love the wildflowers!

Waterfall off the dirt road on the way to Pete's Hole.

Paul asked if I wanted to go "up the mountain" for an adventure today.  I tried to look for a geo-cache and found Pete's Hole on the map.  We had wanted to go there, so we did.  I had to ditch the geo-cache idea, my Garmin didn't want to turn on.  It was about a 20 mile drive from our house.  We drove up the mountain to Skyline drive.  Drove a bit North to the Orangevale road and headed back down the mountain a bit.  There is a turnoff for Pete's Hole and it was about another mile.  Lovely little lake!  People were fishing.  I couldn't tell if anyone was catching.  We pulled out our chairs and had lunch in some shade watching many fish jumping in the pond.  Then we took a hike to see another little pond that was pretty much dried up.  The boys (Peaty and Eddy) had a great time!

It has been 3 weeks since Karen and I had last gotten together for coffee and knitting.  Her garden is looking lovely!  Very peaceful to sit by the waterfall and knit and chat.  Thanks Karen!

It's going to be a hot one!

I like old steel roofing!

New location!

A nice basket!

Yard art!

Kiddie wheelbarrow.

We haven't bought a Bountiful Basket for a couple of weeks.  We were going to be camping on the pick up day.  So when I went online to order for this week, it was a surprise that our location in Epraim was no longer available.  I set up an order for the Manti location instead.  It is only about 6 miles from our house.  A nice new house and then there was this cool old barn/workshop type building across the street.  Great photo op!  You find that all over these small central Utah towns, old historic buildings mixed in with 50's, 70's and brand new homes!

My cousin had posted on her FB page about finding a cute garden idea using old Tonka trucks.  I had to take a couple of photos of my Tonka garden to show her!  I had stuck a plant in the dump truck a few years ago, thought it was charming, so have done it ever since.  Now if I could get those weeds cleared out, it might be a nice little sitting area!

The Pits

First Pit, Tomato and Pepper Plants.

Second Pit, Zucchini,Cukes and Eggplants.

Cukes sprouting.

The Herb Garden.

And it will also be the Pumpkin Patch.

Bird Feeder made by my Dad, Sun by my Sweetie.

We got the Pits planted.  A neighbor gave us a slew of tomato and pepper plants.  Not sure what kind they will be, but they are planted and hopefully will grow!  My Herb Garden is looking better this year.  Two kinds of Thyme, Sage, Chives and Parsley.  I also planted some Basil and Cilantro.  This will also be the Pumpkin Patch this year.  One side is Max and the other Sweet for pie.  Hopefully everything will produce.  I did plant late, but we had freeze warnings a couple of days ago, so I don't think that it was too late.

I love the colors on this rock!
Paul and I had a wonderful weekend camping trip.  We had intended to go to Fremont Indian State Park.  We stopped at the VC (visitor's center) and the ranger told Paul about how there was all kinds of BLM land up road 114 that was free to camp on.  So we drove up 114 farther than we had planned.  We found a great spot that had wonderful views.  We never did make it down to the state park.  But it is close enough to home that we can make a day trip out of it. Peaty and Eddy had a wonderful time!  They are great campin' dogs!
