#11 finished shawl in 2012

I finished my New Moon Shawl!   It is blocking today.  I really liked this yarn, so soft to work with.  So I have something for FO Fridays at Tami's blog this week. And also for Fiber Arts Friday.

I was able to get quite a bit done on the Christmas stocking for the new grandson.  Hopefully I will be able to finish it tonight with a Netflix movie.

  2. Your shawl is really beautiful. I love those patterns around the edge. It looks really complicated.

  3. That's a beautiful shawl and I'm totally stealing that fishing line blocking technique I see there. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Your shawl is beautiful.

My first thought is that your background photo was from New Mexico, but it's a little too green.... ;-).

  6. Thank you for letting me know that's weed-wacker line...it would certainly be studier than even the heaviest fishing line in our garage.

  7. Beautiful shawl. I love the yarn you used too. 11 shawls in one year. Yikes! It takes me a few months to make one shawl. Yours is gorgeous.

  9. That is absolutely beautiful! Just like all of your shawls. I think you will get the last one made while you are on vacation and don't have the distraction of talking to me online. ;)
