Coral Cliffs

I haven't read the new Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum book so I have that on my reading agenda this week. I had a kind soul send me a bit of yarn so that I could finish my Mystery shawl.  I ran out of yarn with 8 rows left!

Some friends and I rented a condo in Kanab, Utah for the week.  We are having a quilting retreat.  And several of us knit as well, so we brought our knitting for handwork in the evenings.  This is the view from the patio!  I love the redrock of southern Utah.

I brought a tub full of UFO's to work on this week.  The first out of the tub were these flower blocks that I won at the guild a couple of years ago.  I got the top pieced and am ready to move on to the next project this morning.

This is my WIP Wednesday, KCCO and Yarn Along post for the week.

  1. A quilting retreat sounds like my kind of heaven! Your flower blocks are really beautiful...Thanks for sharing! Aloha, Lori

  2. Have a wonderful time! What a beautiful spot. I hope to get out to Utah one of these days.

  3. What fun and what a gorgeous view!

  4. I adore the Stephanie Plum series, such fun and quick reads! Your quilt is beautiful and I'm sure you are thrilled that you are able to finish the shawl now.
