Back in the saddle!

I took a break from blogging over the Holidays. I got a batch of hats knitted up for gifts, but forgot to photograph them. Oh well. On to the new year.

More apples!
I made another 5 apples as a gift for a friend! I have 11 in my bowl and may make one or two more. It has been fun to crochet again!

Extra hat
I had enough leftover yarn  from my batch of hats to make another hat, so I chose to do another Turn a square pattern. It is a fun knit! I may have enough to do one more small hat, great easy project to have on hand for between projects.

Poncho
One of my Ravelry groups is doing a Poncho KAL. Fun group, fun knit! This is Outlier by Laura Aylor. Fun to knit pattern! It is going quickly on large needles.

I am reading a fun chicklit book right now. "Chose the wrong guy, gave him the wrong finger" What a fun title!

This is my KCCO and Yarn Along post for this week.

  1. don't you love when you can create something out of scraps of nothing? I'm working on a pair of socks like that now......hats are my other fall-back on scrappy knits. Yours look like they were planned from the beginning, though. Looks great.

  2. I forgot to photograph some of my Christmas knits as well - I was so busy trying to get them finished that it never crossed my mind! I love those apples! Great color for that poncho. I love when projects go fast.
